GutterCare was first in designing a foam that get's installed OVER the hangers and supports.
One of the most important differences with GutterCare is the way it gets installed in your gutter. Our profile is taller so that it can be installed over the hangers and spikes. Why is that important? Because with other styles of foam being sold from competitors, they're designed to be squished under the gutter hangers creating a catch point at the nose of the gutter causing debris to be trapped. With GutterCare there isn't a catch point but rather a smooth surface across your entire gutter, eliminating that problem. Look at the picture below and see how GutterCare allows for debris to slide off as a result of a surface that is slightly taller the the nose of the gutter with no depressions by the hangers.
Now look at this picture of a competitors product where it get installed (squished) under the hangers or spikes. Notice where the debris is collecting. Right by the gutter nails that are holding up the gutters.
